Getting out of the house with a new baby can feel really overwhelming.
Often a picture is painted for new moms that looks like a diaper commercial. Mom is smiling, well rested, baby is quietly snuggling. Unfortunately, this is far from what many mothers experience. A mix of emotions and reactions are common that look very different, including sadness, anger, guilt, exhaustion, fear, anxiety, depression, desperation, and even hopelessness. Remember that even though these are normal, you do not have to suffer in silence.
Whether you are recovering from birth, experiencing postpartum anxiety/depression or simply aren’t ready to leave your home; you don’t have to put off coming to therapy. We will come to you.
