Founder and Psychotherapist, Whole Heart Maternal Mental Health
The reproductive journey can be challenging and emotionally exhausting. Asking for help takes great courage but can lead to powerful results.
As a Board Certified, Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience in Maternal Mental Health, I will work with you to explore your feelings, thoughts, and behaviors around reproductive health and beyond, in an effort to foster growth and positive change.
I use a psychodynamic approach to create a warm, nurturing and secure environment for my patients. Your confidentiality and comfort are of utmost importance to me. I treat a range of issues across the reproductive journey including general anxiety and depression, postpartum anxiety and depression, birth trauma, pregnancy loss and grief, fertility challenges, abortion & adoption support, life changing events such as divorce, loss, grief and intimacy issues. I also have a subspecialty of working with people who have left a cult or the Evangelical church.
Together we will work to help you free yourself from the familial, social and cultural expectations which often constrain us and become internalized truths.

Therapy is an investment into your own well-being. It’s not selfish or self-indulgent to take care of yourself. Good therapy is about helping you access your own strength, insight, and wisdom. By creating a warm, safe, and non-judgmental environment we can tackle these challenges and help alleviate your emotional pain.
I specialize in maternal mental health, including Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, pregnancy grief, loss, and fertility challenges. I also provide Egg and Sperm Donor Psychological Evaluations (in English and/or Spanish).
I offer Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Emotionally-Focused Therapy.
Together we can decrease stress, find ways to heal pain, and make the changes you want for yourself, your family, and your life.

I believe all individuals have inherent skills and wisdom to heal. As a Psychotherapist, I hope to create a compassionate, collaborative, and trusting relationship where you feel seen, heard, and valued. Our work will be a balance of exploring past experiences and relationships, building new skills to reduce distress, highlighting the strengths you already possess and building confidence, increasing awareness and choice, as well as addressing and normalizing fears.
I am Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C), specializing in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) and working with individuals and couples all along (and outside) the reproductive life cycle who are navigating the very difficult transition into parenthood. That can include, but not limited to, individuals who are thinking about or trying to become pregnant, going through fertility treatments, postpartum, experiencing anxiety, depression, and relationship issues, grieving, who have been through traumatic experiences, struggling with a loss of identity, and feeling alone.
My approach to therapy utilizes evidence-based practices, including Psychodynamic Theory, CBT, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and Person-Centered Theory.
I will be an active member in the therapy process, making sure you never feel alone and sitting in each moment with you. It is my hope that we can work together to heal your pain and help create the change you desire.

Going through challenges in reproductive health is so common and yet so many people do not discuss it. We compare ourselves to what we see on social media and we feel we must be "doing it wrong."
I can assure you: You are not doing it wrong.
It really is just that hard.
It is my life’s passion to normalize and validate the challenges and hardships of the reproductive journey.
Together, we will build a safe, supportive relationship and create an environment where you feel comfortable enough to be your authentic self - without judgment. I personalize therapy to you and your unique strengths and needs. I use a humanistic, relational and client-centered approach to bring compassion and warmth to our time together.
I am honored to sit beside you and help you navigate your reproductive journey.

As a systems thinker and a personal executive function consultant, I’m passionate about helping people turn their potential into real progress.
Executive functioning skills are essential for bridging the gap between where you are and where you want to be, especially for working parents who are in a constant state of cognitive overload, balancing their own needs, the needs of children and family, as well as their own professional growth and ambition.
Hormonal and brain changes in the postpartum period and perimenopause and menopause can also bring new challenges like memory issues, sleep disturbances, fatigue, and high stress levels, affecting mental agility and focus. Recognizing and addressing these challenges is key to regaining confidence, clarity, and the ability to prioritize.
With a master’s degree in Professional Education and 25 years of experience in understanding the science of learning, my approach provides not only strategies but a renewed sense of capability, as you develop sustainable skills to manage cognitive load and make progress toward what matters most to you.
I help clients clarify their goals, create actionable plans, and uncover the tools they need to achieve both big and small objectives. This work is done in a judgment-free space, and the skills you build will match your own rhythm and style. Together, we’ll focus on overcoming obstacles, managing cognitive load, and focusing attention on what truly matters to you. If you are ready to create meaningful change with an approach that works for you, let's start this journey together.
